Graphic Design Terms & Conditions
Clear and simple terms explaining how graphic design projects are scoped, delivered and paid for by The Digital Cabin.
These terms apply to all graphic design services provided by The Digital Cabin, for both print and digital use.
1. Scope of work
All graphic design work is based on an agreed brief. This includes the type of design, format, size and intended use.
Any work requested outside the agreed brief will be quoted separately and must be approved before being carried out.
2. Design concepts and revisions
Design projects include a limited number of reasonable revisions, as agreed at the start of the project.
Unlimited revisions are not included.
Additional changes or new requests may incur additional charges.
3. Client materials
Clients are responsible for supplying accurate text, images and other content unless agreed otherwise.
The Digital Cabin is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect or late content supplied by the client.
4. Approval
Clients are responsible for checking and approving designs before final delivery or print.
Once approval has been given, The Digital Cabin is not responsible for any errors that were present in the approved design.
5. Print work
Where designs are produced for print, final colours and finishes may vary depending on printing methods and materials.
The Digital Cabin is not responsible for errors introduced by third-party printers.
6. Usage and ownership
Final design files are supplied for the agreed use only.
Copyright remains with The Digital Cabin until full payment has been received.
Editable source files are not included unless agreed in advance.
7. Payment terms
All pricing is agreed before work begins.
Invoices are payable within the agreed timeframe.
Final files may be withheld until full payment has been received.
8. Liability
While care is taken at all times, liability is limited to the value of the design services provided.
9. General
These terms are governed by UK law.
